Elif Aksoy started onlinealarmclock.co after a familiar frustration. A phone alarm got silenced by a stray notification setting. There was no stubbornly simple backup that would work from any browser, on any device, without an account or an app-store download.

What began as a single alarm page grew, one tool at a time. It became the nine time utilities on this site today — timer, stopwatch, countdown, clock, world clock, date and age calculators, and Pomodoro. Each is built to the same standard: no sign-up, no tracking, and code she can read and explain herself. She still writes, tests, and maintains every page solo.

Her background is self-taught, built through years of shipping and maintaining this site solo — and she is upfront about that instead of claiming credentials she doesn't hold.
